Intro to Soma Yoga Therapy

Soma Yoga therapy blends together the modalities of somatic movement, therapeutic exercise and classical yoga asana.   This  class that will help you to understand and identify your movement patterns that may not be serving you well.  Through what these modalities offer, you will begin to develop healthier movement patterns that will allow your body to let go of tension, reduce pain and improve your mobility.


Had it not been for a minor injury, I might never have found Karen’s therapeutic yoga class. I’m certainly glad that I did! In Karen’s class, I learned about muscles that I didn’t know I had and increased my awareness of how to move without pain. The small group allowed for plenty of individual attention; and Karen’s gentle manner, patience, and expertise made for a very enjoyable and beneficial experience.
